5 Ways to Globalize Your Curriculum from Home

Just because you can’t physically go exploring, doesn’t mean you have to ignore your wanderlust completely. If you’re looking for ways to incorporate global experiences into your online classes during the rest of the semester, we’d recommend checking out a few of these digital experiences we’ve curated.

1. Take EF Educational Tours’ 360 virtual tour of Neuschwanstein Castle with an EF guide

To travel the world without leaving your home, join Alex L. on a 360 virtual tour of Neuschwanstein Castle, a favorite site for many on our programs to Germany.

2. Famous museums you can tour from your home

You might not be able to go to the Musee d’Orsay in Paris, or the Van Goh Museum in Amsterdam right now, but you can still travel there in spirit thanks to Travel and Leisure’s list of 12 famous museums you can visit from your couch.

3. WWII Veteran Jack Port shares his story

Jack entered the army in 1944, and his first foray into the front lines also happened to be one of the largest amphibious invasions in history — D-Day. Seventy-five years after June 6, 1944, our sister product, EF Educational Tours, had the chance to sit down with Jack and invite him to EF’s 2019 Global Leadership Summit. They created this short video to help preserve his story, and give travelers from all over the chance to meet Jack Port.

4. Cultural lessons from staff around the world

Our sister product, EF International Language Campuses, is leaning on their staff around the world to bring lessons of culture and language right to your device. Follow along to their new series, Explore the language @ Home, by following their Instagram channel here.

5. Metropolitan Museum of Art

Are you looking for ways to integrate art into your online lesson? Visit metmuseum.org for high-resolution images, multimedia content, lesson plans, and curriculum guides that may fit your needs.
